Infrastructure

GES has provided consulting services for a wide variety of public works projects including municipal, highways and roadways, airports, bridges, dams and levees, educational facilities, landfills, pipelines, power stations, railroads, reservoirs and tanks, transmission lines, tunnels, water and wastewater treatment plants, military structures, and other public developments.

Geotechnical engineering plays a critical role within all infrastructure projects. Failure to adequately account for the influence of the ground regularly leads to increased costs that often can be disproportionately high compared to the savings made by geotechnical neglect.

The materials that are used to build roads and buildings are an important part of every project. The final product of a project, whether it be a highway, bridge, or apartment building, is only as good as the quality of materials incorporated. Construction materials specifications become incredibly important when design plans are being developed. When a developer, city, county or the department of transportation sets their project specifications, they do so with longevity and the project’s life expectancy in mind. Materials testing and inspections are necessary and vital to infrastructure projects.

GES provides our services to all municipalities across the state of Nevada as well as throughout the southwest region of the United States.
